Our most popular undertaking, the Louisiana Diversity and Leadership Conference, will be held on August 15, 2013 in New Orleans. It will feature panel discussions of business executives discussing topics such as diversity, leadership, and professional development.

Dillard University Receives Historic Number of Brazilian Students

(New Orleans, LA) —Dillard University’s Center for Intensive English Language (CIEL) in the Office of International Students and Study Abroad Programs (OISSAP) became the first language program at an HBCU to receive 24 public school teachers from Brazil to study English as a second language through the Professional Development Program for Teachers of English Language in the USA (PDPI).

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month

As September 15 comes closer on our calendar, we begin to see cities and communities across the United States start the process of planning parades, festivals, guest speakers, and other important cultural necessities in order to celebrate what is quickly becoming one of the preeminent 30 day celebrations, also known as National Hispanic Heritage Month.
