The Bullying Effect: The Costs and Consequences to an Organization

Imagine getting up each day and going to a job where you are bullied. For some, there is no imagination needed because it’s their reality. According to a 2014 U.S. Workplace Bullying Survey conducted by the Workplace Bullying Institute (WBI), 27% of Americans expressed being subjected to abusive conduct at work. This percentage accounts for approximately 37 million U.S. workers who were either currently being bullied or had experienced being bullied.
